Redefine Pro Bratwurst with Stir-fried Vegetables
Ingredients
- 200 g Redefine Pro Bratwurst sausages
- 850 g (30 oz) small potatoes
- 20 g kale leaves
- 100 g (3.5 oz) onion, halved and sliced into strips
- 360 g (13 oz) green peppers
- 3 tbsps. olive oil
- ½ tsp. salt
- A pinch of pepper
- ½ a lemon
Method
PREPARATION
- Julienne the onion and peppers, halve the potatoes. Remove the central veins from the kale leaves and tear them into strips.
- Heat the oil in a sauté pan or wok, over medium/high heat. Add the onions and cook until they are golden and caramelize.
- Add the rest of the vegetables and the salt and pepper. Continue to stir fry until the kale wilts and the vegetables are cooked. Keep warm.
- Prepare the Redefine Pro Bratwurst sausages according to the instructions on the package.
- Before plating, squeeze the juice of half a lemon over the stir fry.
- Plate the cooked sausages alongside a bed of stir-fried vegetables and serve.
